The Genbukan Futen Dojo was founded by head instructor, Michael Coleman, in 1990. We have proven a consistent commitment to serving both our students and the surrounding community. If you’re looking Milwaukee’s best martial arts school, you’re in the right place!
All of the instructors at the Genbukan Futen Dojo are internationally certified by two of most respected organizations in Japan: Genbukan World Ninpo Bugei Federation (genbukan = home of the martial arts professional) & Kokusai Jujutsu Renmei (kokusai = international, renmei = federation)
Headed by legendary Grandmaster Shoto Tanemura, both organizations have branches on the Asian, North American, South American, African and Australian continents offering the highest quality martial arts training available anywhere.
