About Us
Jamaican Fair Trade was established November 2018.
My dream was to build a business based off of my roots in Jamaica. Both of my parents grew up in the rural parts of Jamaica, making sacrifices and working hard for everything that they have built. I intentionally designed Jamaican Fair Trade to work directly with small Jamaican farms to bring 100% Blue Mountain coffee to the Midwest. My goal of Jamaican Fair Trade is to work together with these small farmers to do my part to rebuild the Jamaica economy while sharing in the profits with my fellow entrepreneurs and small businesses here locally. We continue to grow and are proudly supporting local small coffee shops, roasters, baristas, breweries, AirBnb owners, and commercial and residential consumers.
We take pride in the quality of our product. We only work with small farmers that are certified through the Jamaica Agricultural Commodities Regulatory Authority (JACRA) or the CIB (Coffee Industry Board). These quality control measures ensure that the coffee is delivered to your mug to the Jamaican Blue Mountain standard. We offer light, medium, and dark roasted beans available for purchase.
